Last night for FHE we met up with my sisters and parents and even Grandma Stewart and went to see Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. They had it playing on the big screen at the Station casinos. That has been one of my favorite movies since i was a teenager. I'm always amazed when someone tells me they have never seen it or heard of it. I was especially surprised when grandma told me she had never seen it. Travis and Stewart were not to happy about going but Travis laughed through the whole thing and said he liked it. Stewart pretended to be bored but i think secretly he really enjoyed it and of course Logan nd Kenady loved it!
I have to admit that I too have never seen seven brides for seven brothers. At first I was thinking of The Magnificent Seven and I thought it was weird that it was one of your favorites, but maybe I'll have to check this one out. I don't think I am going to find it on the big screen here though.
ReplyDeleteI almost went to that movie! Darn. I wish I would have gone. I could of crashed the Stewart party and watched men in flannel shirts sing “Bless Your Beautiful Hide.” That's pure fun!
